Publish on Monday, 27 October 2014 dans Fairs and tradeshows

Le Festival Des Meilleurs Vins offers a Grand Tasting for those with an appreciation for fine wines. This annual event in Paris offers the opportunity for lovers of wine culture to get together with fellow enthusiasts and meet experts who are delighted to share their knowledge. The event has a warm, friendly, inclusive atmosphere that should most definitely be experienced. It all takes place on November 28th and 29th in the conference and exhibition hall of the Carrousel du Louvre underground shopping centre.

You are cordially invited to Le Grand Tasting

Come along to Le Grand Tasting to see, swirl, sniff, sip and savour some of the finest wines from the world’s best wine makers. Each year this much anticipated event just seems to keep on getting better. The star of the show is the quality, and the credit for maintaining such a high standard must go to Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve. These leading French wine critics, who publish a well-respected guidebook to the fine wines of France, are the hosts of the event. They ensure by approval that all the wines chosen to be presented are of the highest quality. It’s not just the well-established wine makers who are featured, either, it’s also the up and coming new creators who receive their chance in the spotlight.

This year offers more wines and more space than ever. There’s plenty of opportunities offered for visitors to increase their knowledge, thanks to the Master Class programme taught by wine makers, critics and other experts. There’s even a Prestige Master Class so that the most passionate of connoisseurs can take their appreciation to the next level. A gourmet workshop returns the wine to its original place, the table, by looking at the most appropriate pairings with various kinds of food. The Ecole des Terroirs educational tasting session looks deep into the background stories of the superb wines on offer.

Paris Photo; The premiere photographic fair

Paris Photo has garnered a reputation for being one of the most innovative, enriching and essential photographic fairs in the world. This latest edition offers exhibitions gathered from the collections of both private individuals and public institutions, such as Giorgio Armani, BMW, Leica and the JP Morgan Chase art collection. A large number of exhibitors from across the globe will be presenting their offerings at the Grand Palais from November 13th to the 16th. Additionally, there will be numerous presentations, plus the Paris Photobook awards. This show should not be missed by anyone with an interest in the photographic medium.
